PADI- Discover Scuba Diving (Resort Course)
The PADI introductory scuba diving lessons in Puerto Morelos are the perfect beginning for those who always wanted to give scuba diving a try.
In the pool with the instructor you experience for the first time the fascination of breathing under water and enjoy the floating, nearly weightless, sensation through the water.
Then you go together with your instructor on a scuba dive in shallow, warm water at the living coral reef. One afternoon you will never forget.

PADI- Open Water Course
The PADI Open Water Diver course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to safely scuba dive world wide.
Your Puerto Morelos scuba diving adventure will begin with your scuba diving instructor preparing you for the excitement of entry-level diving activities while having fun on some of the best dive sites on the Grand Mayan Reef.
Your Padi Open Water scuba diving course consists of knowledge and skills development sessions in confined water and two afternoons diving scuba diving on the reef and a written test.
After completion, you receive the PADI Open Water certification and then the underwater world is yours to explore

PADI- Referral Course
If you don't have the opportunity to take a full certification class at home due to time, weather, or access to local dive sites, Referral certification is the way to go!
After completing your classroom and pool dives back home, come to Puerto Morelos's warm waters to do your checkout dives.
You spend two afternoons completing all the necessary exercises at different dive sites. After completion you will receive the PADI Open Water Diver certificate.

Now you can enroll in the PADI Advanced Course, or partake in the daily scuba diving excursions to the coral reefs.

PADI- Advanced Course
The PADI Advanced Open Water course is designed to improve your diving skills, give you added confidence in various diving conditions and introduce you to multilevel diving using the PADI Wheel.
Unlike the basic open water course, it emphasises practical application rather than theory. This means only one classroom session, one pool session and as well as the open water dives.
This course is ideal for the divers who have just passed their open water course and for those certified divers who wish to further their diving experience and education.
The Advanced Open Water course is a ton of fun and a great way to build up your knowledge and confidence under the direct supervision of a PADI Instructor.

Prerequisites:
You must be 12 years of age or older and have a PADI or equivalent open water certification.

Core Dives for your Advanced Course

Deep Dive - Experience the deep reaches of the famous C56 wreck. Notice how colors are altered at depth. See if Nitrogen Narcosis affects you at depth by undoing a combination lock for time and comparing it to your surface time. You will also be practicing safety stops.

Navigation Dive - Become an expert at navigation. Measure rough distances with kick cycles, navigate square and triangle patterns with a compass. You will actually be able to find your way back to the boat or point of entry.

Elective Dives for your Advanced Course

Search and Recovery Dive
Everyone loses something at one time or another. Learn search patterns to find different sized objects and patterns to use in different underwater terrain. Use lift bags to lift heavy objects to the surface.

Underwater Naturalist Dive -
The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of diving in different aquatic environments. A basic overview of major aquatic life groupings (kingdoms and phyla). Factual information that dispels myths of potentially dangerous aquatic life. An overview of basic aquatic life interactions and associations. Responsible human interactions with aquatic life. Diving technique used to help preserve bottom dwelling aquatic life and minimize aquatic life disturbance.

Discover the freshwater cenotes of the Yucatan and work on your buoyancy and confined area skills in these extraordinary underwater landscapes

PADI- Emergency First Response
Emergency First Response gives you the tools you need to perform CPR and First Aid. Whether you're a diver or a non-diver, Emergency First Response prepares you to properly handle potentially life-threatening situations.
This comprehensive program is composed of two core modules that can be taught in tandem or as stand-alone courses: Emergency First Response - Primary Care and Emergency First Response - Secondary Care. Together, these courses provide extensive instruction in CPR and First Aid.
There is no minimum age and no dive certification is required. .

Get prepared for any emergency and learn how to solve problem situations under water.

PADI- Rescue Diver
The basic premise of the Rescue Diver course is to learn the skills needed for the prevention and management of scuba diving emergencies.
The PADI Rescue Diver course is unique in that it not only provides you the skills to make you a safer scuba diver and a better dive buddy, but it is also the basic step for anyone thinking of becoming a diving professional.
The PADI Rescue Diver course is designed to build on your existing experience and to make the serious subject of accident prevention and management enjoyable and rewarding
This is an extensive program that teaches you to focus on other divers, as well as yourself. It shows you how to recognize and prevent a diving accident before they occur. You will also learn how to respond if one does. Although the subject matter is serious, the course is very rewarding and enjoyable.

Prerequisites:
Certified Advanced Open Water Diver, Junior Advanced Open Water Diver (12-14 years) or equivalent.
CPR training within the past 3 years before final certification. This requirement may be fulfilled in our Emergency First Response Course.
